About the position

The Project Engineer III position at Technip Energies involves being a key member of the engineering leadership team, responsible for executing engineering, technical, and construction readiness aspects of various projects, particularly in the energy transition, petrochemical, hydrogen, carbon capture, and LNG industries. The role includes coordination with various teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, timely project execution, and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise discipline engineers and designers during the engineering phase of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with HSES and Quality policies.
  • Oversee contract compliance related to engineering, design, and construction.
  • Facilitate accurate engineering, design, and construction readiness.
  • Delegate tasks effectively to discipline lead engineers.
  • Ensure technical compliance of materials and equipment.
  • Support procurement, subcontracting, and construction processes in a timely manner.
  • Report project progress accurately and provide early warnings for potential risks.
  • Assist in developing strategic and tactical decisions for the Construction Execution Plan.
  • Participate in constructability assessments and project planning sessions.
  • Liaise with construction stakeholders and customers to improve relationships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years as a project engineer or in a senior position responsible for technical deliverables.
  • 10+ years of engineering and design experience in petrochemical, refining, or LNG projects to US codes and standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 2+ years of field engineering experience at a USA construction site or module fabrication facility for relevant projects is preferred.
  • Relevant experience with modularized engineering and design is an asset.
