About the position

The Project Engineer will be responsible for designing and managing projects within an industrial or manufacturing environment. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet industry standards, company requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in 3D modeling and 2D technical drawing, along with a solid understanding of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
• Develop and manage project designs using 3D modeling and 2D technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME Y14.5, and GD&T standards in all designs.
• Conduct troubleshooting and problem-solving for design and project management issues.
• Utilize SolidWorks and AutoCAD for technical equipment design and project management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine components and dynamics.
• At least 4 years' experience in technical equipment design and project management.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing methods and equipment for component design considerations.
