About the position

The Project Engineer for Municipal projects at Quiddity will independently perform engineering assignments, lead project teams, and manage the quality, timeliness, and financial aspects of municipal projects. This role involves supervising and mentoring junior engineers and ensuring compliance with engineering conditions and permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform engineering assignments for municipal projects.
  • Lead multiple project teams across simultaneous assignments.
  • Manage the quality, timeliness, and financial aspects of projects.
  • Lead design tasks on multiple municipal projects.
  • Develop quality work products and designs under the mentorship of senior staff.
  • Supervise and mentor engineers-in-training, designers, and technicians.
  • Research, identify, and apply permitting process and code requirements to engineering assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering or science field.
  • 5+ years design engineering experience working on municipal infrastructure projects, and/or county and state roadway projects.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Texas.
  • Valid TX driver's license and insurable driving record.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
