About the position
The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and managing onsite construction engineering and quality activities for large projects in the power construction industry. This role involves collaboration with project managers and field teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in project planning, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinating with field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Managing project documentation and reporting.
- Contributing to cost control and budget management.
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of related experience in heavy civil construction.
- Experience in the power construction industry, including grading, clearing, civil site development, and foundations.
- Strong ability to work well in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required).
- Estimating or takeoff experience is a bonus.
- Willingness to relocate if necessary.
