About the position

As a Project Engineer on the Water Resources team at Olsson, you will be responsible for various engineering and project management duties related to evaluating, designing, and constructing water resource projects. This role involves collaborating with team members, developing project scopes and schedules, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. You will also be required to travel to job sites for observation in diverse terrains and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, design, and construct water resource projects.
• Develop project scope and schedule.
• Prepare project documentation and review shop drawings.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on project tasks.
• Travel to job sites for observation and project oversight.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
• Registered professional engineer.
• At least 5 years of related water resource engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, HEC-RAS, or other related hydrologic and hydraulic software.
