About the position
The Project Engineer for Water/Wastewater at Benesch is responsible for managing and executing a variety of water-related infrastructure projects. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee project teams, maintain client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the water/wastewater group. The position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule and involves both self-performance and team management in the planning and design of projects.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex analysis and design for water-related infrastructure projects.
- Check and sign off on basic design calculations and plan layout drawings.
- Design elements/components of projects and coordinate development with other disciplines.
- Assume responsibility for assigned design calculation files and ensure adequate independent quality control reviews.
- Manage client relationships and contribute to strategic initiatives for growth in the water/wastewater sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience with water resources, drinking water, and/or wastewater engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrated creativity and judgment in engineering applications.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
