About the position

The Project Engineer at Becho Incorporated will support multiple construction projects from the home office in Sylmar, CA. This role involves managing project documentation, monitoring job costs, and assisting in the project closeout process, ensuring quality control and accurate reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Track, review and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, and Owner Payment Applications.
• Monitor job costs and maintain accurate reports.
• Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports and analyzing labor costs.
• Complete quarterly profit project records.
• Manage the preparation and execution of the Project closeout process.
• Research and propose solutions to quality control issues.
• Perform quantities take offs.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution.
• 3 or more years of construction experience in the civil or infrastructure sector.
• Previous experience as a field engineer, project engineer or office engineer.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience.
