About the position

The Project Engineer at V2X will play a crucial role in leading the development of a transmission controlled system within the program engineering department. This position requires a collaborative and innovative thinker who can manage complex projects, ensuring technical solutions are developed and implemented effectively. The Project Engineer will oversee all phases of the design and build process, providing technical leadership and coordinating a multi-discipline team to build and test products in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop proposals, including coordinating engineering estimates and writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Create and maintain project plans, including leading project tailoring and coordinating development of spend plans and schedules.
• Conduct project reviews, leading kick-off meetings and presenting program data to business leadership and customers.
• Monitor and measure project performance, developing Key Performance Measures (KPIs) and coordinating Estimates at Complete (EAC).
• Lead the technical project team, ensuring execution within budget and schedule, and mentoring team members.
• Coordinate business functions for project success, acting as the primary interface with supply chain, logistics, finance, and manufacturing.
• Participate in Program Reviews, supporting the program manager in presentations to business leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum eight (8) years of related experience required.
• US Government Secret Security Clearance and US Citizenship required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Windows.
• Proficient with Microsoft Project and scheduling practices.
• Ability to generate SAP/S4 Hanna queries/reports.
