About the position

The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading various engineering project activities, including budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and work order management. This role serves as the primary technical contact during the bid and evaluation processes, ensuring the preparation of bid documents and conducting technical evaluations. The Project Engineer will also coordinate and lead multiple projects, providing oversight and direction for testing, installation, inspections, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and accounting for engineering projects.
  • Act as the prime technical contact during bid and evaluation processes.
  • Prepare bid documents and complete technical evaluations for proposals.
  • Coordinate and lead multiple projects or portions of projects.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for project activities in Operations, Maintenance, Testing/Diagnostics, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide field engineering oversight and direction for testing, installation, inspections, and commissioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or General Engineering).
  • 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • 1-2 years of project management experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Utility/Energy Sector.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas.
  • Experience with SAP, specifically in Work Order Management.
