About the position

The Project Engineer at Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Trident Program. This position involves collaborating with a diverse operations team to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliverables while adhering to cost, performance, and schedule requirements. The role emphasizes continuous improvement and effective communication within a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with a multi-disciplinary engineering and operations team to ensure all Trident Program deliverables are met per cost, performance, and schedule requirements.
• Maintain Program and Functional specific Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Provide Program status reports and functional performance updates to direct leadership.
• Support operations team members during peak activity, including procurement and material staging.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using Lean Manufacturing Principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations environment with demonstrated performance in meeting program key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Experience in leading cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve targeted program goals.
• Experience with Material Management / P2P Procurement Environments.

• Earned Value Management Experience / CAM Certified.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification.
• Experience working with a union-represented workforce.
• Familiarity with Government Contracts and Program Executions.
• Knowledge of Trident Navigation.
