About the position

As a Project Engineer at Lithko Contracting, you will gain hands-on experience in concrete construction while working under the guidance of dedicated managers and mentors. This entry-level role is designed to help you develop your skills and knowledge in the field, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and project execution. The position offers a structured integration program that supports rapid career advancement, with many Project Engineers being promoted within a year of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Utilize resources, including managers and mentors, to understand project scope and schedule.
• Develop plans to execute work objectives and track progress.
• Manage daily safety, quality, and execution of work objectives.
• Engage in hands-on performance with teams through daily preparation and project execution processes.
• Estimate project needs, perform field engineering, and conduct inspections.
• Prepare and form structural slabs, including slab on grade and slab on metal deck prep.
• Conduct production tracking and quantity take-offs.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Completion of a degree in Construction Management, Concrete Industry Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field before the start date, or equivalent work or military experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on construction experience is a plus.
