About the position

The Project Manager (PM) at Consigli Construction Co., Inc. is responsible for overseeing the entire life cycle of construction projects, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders, and managing project financials, schedules, and resources. The PM plays a crucial role in business development and customer service, while also mentoring team members and maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the project.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders including Owners, OPMs, Developers, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors.
  • Oversee the entire project's life cycle including budget, cost, schedule, risk, resource management, and safety.
  • Support proposal and preconstruction processes, working closely with estimating and purchasing during procurement.
  • Provide constructability reviews of drawings and budget updates as necessary.
  • Manage project team and staffing requirements, attending and running weekly project meetings.
  • Coordinate with field staff on project goals, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage project financials including cost reporting, monthly requisitions, and invoice approvals.
  • Forecast budgets and manage change, including negotiation of disputes.
  • Represent Consigli with various stakeholders and maintain communication with Owners.
  • Mentor staff and manage performance evaluations, identifying training needs.
  • Oversee project controls including RFIs, submittals, and material delivery tracking.
  • Assist in the resolution of critical issues focusing on quality, cost, and schedule.
  • Monitor executed subcontracts and verify contracts and insurance are in place before work commences.
  • Work closely with the Project Scheduler to update and distribute the project master schedule.
  • Complete and implement project closeout checklist and manage closeout documentation process.
  • Conduct field walks and compile documentation, reviewing Design Team field reports for resolution.
  • Perform regular safety walks with field and safety staff.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience within the construction industry in project management or a similar role.
  • OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certifications preferred.
  • Proficiency in cost management software (Timberline, Sage preferred), scheduling software (Primavera P6 preferred), and construction management software (Procore preferred).
