About the position

The Construction Project Engineer will support the project management team in ensuring the successful execution of an airport construction project. This role involves maintaining construction documents, ensuring safety on worksites, and assisting in various project management tasks to facilitate smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update and distribute construction documents (RFIs, ASIs, PRs, etc.)
• Help to maintain safe worksites
• Review, expedite and track submittals
• Attend job site meetings and maintain meeting minutes
• Assist in preparing bid packages, issuance of contract documents and invoice approval
• Assist in producing and updating project schedules
• Assist in resolving design issues
• Schedule and document client training for new systems and equipment
• Manage project closeout process, including owner training and archiving project records

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Construction Management/Construction Engineering or a Construction Management Certificate from an accredited university
• Applicable internships and field experience preferred
• Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and Construction Management Software
