About the position

The Project Engineer position at HKA Enterprises focuses on accelerating the industrialization of Additive Manufacturing (AM) processes, tools, and parts within the Additive Manufacturing Process and Capability Center (AMPCC). This dynamic role involves managing internal and supplier activities across various initiatives, collaborating closely with team members and business units to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules to execute internal and external AM activities
• Gather engineering requirements and develop clear documentation and specifications
• Coordinate internal and supplier activities and ensure tasks are executed per plan
• Execute AM process steps while driving process improvements and standardization
• Summarize and present project status in management meetings
• Manage and track material transfers and shipping
• Track and enter test data into various databases
• Work with client Business Units to understand and address their needs

Requirements

• Completed a BS degree in an engineering field
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with complex worksheets
• Strong planning, problem solving, organizational, and project management skills
• Excel macro writing experience
• Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment
• Highly self-motivated and detail oriented
• A desire to learn something new every day
