About The Position

The Project Engineer at Air Products is responsible for managing projects from bid proposal through delivery, focusing on the global hydrogen and helium market segments for cryogenic storage and transportation equipment. This role requires strong project management skills, effective communication, and the ability to work cross-functionally to meet project targets, budgets, and timelines while upholding safety and ethical standards.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Engineering, preferably.
• 5+ years of experience in project and proposal management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to drive success.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Air Products safety philosophy for both the workplace and projects.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and vendors to ensure delivery on schedule and on budget, monitoring progress and performance.
• Ensure all changes are handled in accordance with project procedures and manage the lessons learned process.
• Plan and lead projects to ensure efficient completion.
• Evaluate and seek required approval for changes that impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly spend analysis and provide financial information regarding potential impacts to project budget or forecast.
• Manage project build and closure in SAP.
