About the position

The Mechanical Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing design work and ensuring quality control within the Corporate Quality Control Department. This role involves making significant design recommendations and decisions, planning design work, and leading a team of engineers. The position is ideal for someone looking to transition into Project Management and take on future projects.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the Corporate Quality Control Department.
• Responsible for complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes.
• Makes major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff.
• Plans design work and assigns design duties to staff working on projects.
• Desire to move into Project Management and seek out future projects.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Ability to perform all essential duties and responsibilities as an Engineer and demonstrate outstanding leadership in either the Technical or Project Management Path.
• Ability to provide a high level of leadership to others.
• Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise.
