About the position

As a full-time Project Engineer at AC Green LLC, you will play a crucial role in the construction process by managing project documentation, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team in a rapidly growing, family-owned construction firm, contributing to the company's ongoing success.

Responsibilities

• Review, submit, and coordinate submittals, RFIs, change orders, and all associated logs.
• Perform construction cost estimates and prepare change orders.
• Manage drawing and document control.
• Finalize project as-builts, closeout documents, and ensure punch list completion.
• Review project schedule and update progress.
• Conduct site visits to review progress and issues.
• Review project contracts, scopes of work, drawings, and specifications to maintain a working knowledge of the assigned project.
• Review safety documentation with safety manager to ensure understanding of safety-related functions/applications.
• Some travel will be required (Columbus, Cincinnati, for example) - 5-10%.

Requirements

• Possess a 4 year Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• Good organization, writing and verbal skills.
• Proper understanding of Microsoft Office, BlueBeam Revu, and Autodesk drafting software (Autodesk software experience is preferred, but not required).
• Must be able to read and interpret project drawings and specifications.
• Excellent time management skills.
