Our mission is to consistently exceed expectations in various projects, including crafting premier athletic fields, undertaking site development, and executing utility work. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and independent Project Estimator/Coordinator to join our team. This role is crucial as it involves evaluating project requirements, preparing accurate cost estimates, and providing detailed analysis to support project planning and decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of earthmoving and excavation operations. The Project Estimator/Coordinator will be responsible for a range of tasks that include administrative duties during the project timeline, analyzing project requirements to develop accurate material and labor cost estimates, and negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. Collaboration with project managers is essential to review and finalize project budgets, and the role will also involve visiting construction sites to assess project scope and gather necessary information. Additionally, the Project Estimator/Coordinator will monitor and control project costs throughout the construction phase and assist in project management activities related to cost control and budget adherence. This position is ideal for someone who is willing to learn and has a background in construction management or a related field.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Willingness to learn
  • Negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from vendors and subcontractors
  • Experience with Bluebeam is preferred
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical construction documents
  • Project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively
  • Background in construction management or related field is preferred
