About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Utilize HeavyBid software to create detailed pricing structures for various construction projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data relevant to the estimation process.
• Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Utilize Bluebeam for plan takeoffs and document management throughout the estimating process.

Requirements

• Proven experience in project estimating within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with contract negotiation processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in HeavyBid software is highly desirable; experience with Bluebeam is a must.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in pricing and cost control.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex information.
