The Project Executive at Summit Design + Build is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the company's regional operations in Tampa, Florida. This position involves managing multiple construction projects, driving sales and profitability, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team. The Project Executive will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the organization and making a significant impact in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with multiple clients, driving sales, revenue, and profit goals.
• Lead company improvement initiatives and execute a comprehensive business plan approved by senior management.
• Manage multiple projects with the aim of maximizing profitability and meeting set financial targets.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from preconstruction through to completion, ensuring operational excellence.
• Manage and mentor a team of project managers and engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Work with VPs to negotiate terms and ensure compliance with all project-related agreements.
• Ensure adherence to all company procedures and accountability within the project team.
• Assist in recruiting efforts, utilizing industry contacts to identify potential candidates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in commercial general contracting, with a proven track record of leading projects and teams.
• Exceptional leadership skills, capable of mentoring and developing others.
• Strong business acumen with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Procore, and Microsoft Project.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage complex client relationships.
