About the position

The Project Executive (Sales) for Building Automation Systems is responsible for leading and developing a sales team to enhance company revenue in the HVAC and building controls sector. This role requires a strong technical background in commercial HVAC, extensive sales experience, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders, including building owners and facility managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, expand, and maintain relationships with Building Owners, Facility Managers, Property Managers, and internal teams.
• Provide technical advice and layout projects to meet customer challenges and budgets.
• Target owners and end-users outside the current customer base.
• Focus on maintaining, developing, and converting accounts to Technical Service Agreement accounts.
• Prospect and qualify for new sales opportunities.
• Maintain and work on a sales plan to hit annual goals.
• Create and deliver sales presentations for project interviews and new technology releases.
• Maintain involvement in projects after closing the sale, including kick-offs with operations and follow-up with the client.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related studies, or equivalent work experience.
• Commercial HVAC and building controls experience preferred.
• Three years of related experience in sales, construction, or technology.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer systems, including the MS Office suite of products.
• Passion for continuously developing and improving selling skills.
• Self-motivated.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
