About the position

DLA Piper is seeking a finance Of Counsel to join its Project & Energy Finance group, focusing on financing energy transition and data center projects. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on internationally recognized matters, including innovative financing deals in the energy transition sector.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Project & Energy Finance group on financing energy transition and data center projects.
• Draft and negotiate loan and security documentation.
• Coordinate complex closings for financing deals.
• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionals.
• Produce timely and quality work products while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in project finance or related fields.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating loan and security documentation.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
