About the position

Ninyo & Moore is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer to oversee and direct geotechnical engineering projects in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves mentoring junior staff, managing client relationships, and ensuring the quality of engineering work products. The successful candidate will play a key role in both private and public projects, providing leadership and training to the engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Direct, review, and oversee small to large private and public geotechnical projects.
• Mentor junior staff and provide ongoing training to engineering personnel.
• Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Review and sign geotechnical proposals and reports.
• Provide direction and review of engineering work products.

Requirements

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required; M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred.
• Registered Civil Engineer with 5+ years of geotechnical engineering consulting experience.
• Experience in construction and earthwork activities is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
