About the position
Byron Project Kids is seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic, and caring individuals to work as Program Assistants at the Primary and Intermediate Schools. The successful candidates will assist in creating a safe, fun, and stimulating learning environment for school age children. Candidates should have some experience working with young people. Program Assistants must be intuitive, work well in a team setting, and greatly enjoy interacting with children. This position is part-time during the school year, with hours available before school (6:00 AM-7:30 AM) and after school (2:15 PM-6:00 PM) as well as during non-school days. Program Assistants work up to 40 hours per week during the summer months should you decide to continue to work throughout the summer.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating a safe, fun, and stimulating learning environment for school age children.
- Work collaboratively with other team members.
- Interact positively with children and support their learning.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Some experience working with young people.

- Hourly wage scale starts at $14.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
