Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Project Lead and Scrum Master to support KITS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. The role involves leading a project team focused on Development while assisting the Program Manager across various aspects including Architecture, Engineering, Security, Operations, Development, UI/UX, User Training, and Agile Project Management of the DOS web assets hosted on Cloud Architecture running a Content Management System (WordPress). The Project Lead will motivate a team of 9 and manage the work to ensure customer satisfaction while running Scrum boards and adhering to agile procedures. The essential functions of this role include managing scrum boards, building value streams across multiple web assets to maintain current functionality while modernizing to the evolving digital ecosystem. The Project Lead will build a collaborative team of architects, engineers, developers, quality assurance, training, security, and help desk engineers, ensuring strong customer satisfaction. The position requires the installation of discipline through development methodology and strong processes that are well documented. Stakeholder analysis will be performed to solicit high-level goals from the customer, ensuring success criteria is understood and tracked. Additionally, the Project Lead will be responsible for budget forecasts, tracking revenues, establishing a Jira process, creating Scrum boards in Jira following SAFE methodology, and running project plans and schedules. The role also involves identifying, tracking, and resolving project risks and issues, establishing and monitoring systems and procedures to enhance workflow, and supporting all status reporting and cross-functional activities. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment as a servant leader. The role requires flexibility, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision while maintaining good reasoning and problem-solving skills.
