About the position

The Project Lead position at Esolvit Inc. involves leading IT projects focused on data center operations and migrations to AWS cloud services. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are delivered successfully within the defined scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, particularly in Agile environments, and will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex technical projects related to data center operations and AWS cloud migrations.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a well-defined product backlog and ensure timely delivery of prioritized features.
• Monitor project deliverables and milestones to ensure they are met according to the project plan.
• Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
• Champion Agile principles and practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Guide the team in adopting and adhering to Agile methodologies.
• Work closely with internal and external vendors to ensure operational requirements are met.

Requirements

• 7 years of extensive experience in IT project management within large data center environments.
• Strong understanding of technical aspects of projects managed in an Agile context.
• Solid working knowledge of MS Office suite, including Microsoft Project.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in monitoring project deliverables and milestones.
• Experience in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Solid experience with IT procurements, budgets, forecasts, and analysis.
• Experience migrating on-premise data centers to cloud services, preferably AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• 3 years of experience in government fiscal and budget management supporting data centers.
• 3 years of experience with senior-level leadership reporting and communication.
• Familiarity with various levels of reporting tools.
• 3 years of experience using Remedy, ITSM, PPM, Archer, Jira, and ServiceNow.
