About the position

This position is responsible for leading the development of technology-based products in areas such as ISO Containerized Energy Storage Systems, Electric Vehicle DC Fast Chargers, and Solar PV Systems. The role involves analyzing technical specifications, providing feedback to internal and external stakeholders, and driving technical solutions throughout the product development cycle. The ideal candidate will support R&D roadmaps, manage project costs, and ensure effective communication within the team and with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support creation of R&D roadmaps for products and technology competency.
  • Drive funding activities for internal R&D reference platform funding.
  • Develop Intellectual Property, including patents and proprietary tools.
  • Create effective professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Organize and present ideas clearly in both verbal and written forms.
  • Provide regular updates to Business Unit Directors and Managers on strategy execution.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies in processes and systems.
  • Lead product development efforts from concept to mass manufacturing.
  • Guide the development of system component requirements and specifications.
  • Lead design reviews and maintain a culture of learning within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in concept-to-production development.
  • Experience in Energy Storage Systems, EV Charging Systems, and power electronics.
  • Familiarity with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical CAD tools.
  • Experience in high-level software development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with WindChill and DevOps.
  • Advanced PC skills, including knowledge of vendor software packages.
