About the position

The Project Leader is a senior-level role within an architecture, engineering, and design firm, responsible for overseeing daily project activities, ensuring quality control, and managing project delivery from design through to closeout. This position involves direct supervision of project teams and coordination with various stakeholders to meet project schedules and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily project activities and ensure quality control.
• Manage all phases of projects from design through to project closeout.
• Direct hands-on drawing production efforts of the project team.
• Coordinate workload with the project team and consultants to ensure schedules are met.
• Review architectural documents for coordination with all disciplines.
• Coordinate, write, and/or edit architectural specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
• 6-10 years of experience in architecture, with at least 3 years in commercial retail, mixed-use, or multi-family housing projects.
• Extensive knowledge of the project development process, including construction, retail design, site planning, structural, and MEP criteria.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and approval processes.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Word, and MS Excel.

Nice-to-haves
