About the position

The Project Leader role focuses on leading and validating ERP system implementations, specifically within PeopleSoft Finance and Human Capital Management (HCM) modules. This contract position requires the individual to create, manage, and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, ensuring that the implementation meets business requirements and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP and PeopleSoft module testing, ensuring proper implementation and validation.
• Develop and execute test plans to confirm business requirements, document testing scenarios, and compile testing results.
• Track and report UAT results and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including leadership and technical staff, to communicate project progress and resolve issues.
• Use Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Visio, and Smartsheet (or similar tools) to document and manage test activities.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication across multiple levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Three (3) years of experience directly related to ERP system activities.
• Three (3) years of UAT experience, especially with state or government entities.
• Demonstrated experience with PeopleSoft, ERP Financials, HCM, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Visio.
• Experience with Smartsheet or similar collaboration tools.
• At least two (2) years of experience in project management.

Nice-to-haves

• Five (5) years of ERP-related experience, including UAT testing with state or large government entities.
• Experience working on projects with medium to high complexity, particularly in government settings.
• Familiarity with PeopleTools 8.59+.
• Experience with PeopleSoft modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Asset Management, Human Capital Management, and more.
• Proven experience developing and managing UAT plans and collaborating with functional users.

Benefits

• Contract position with competitive pay of $70.00 - $90.00 per hour.
• Expected hours: 40 per week.
