In this role, the successful candidate will oversee a range of environmental initiatives, including Brownfield/Voluntary Clean-up Program sites, RCRA sites, Landfill Sites, and Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a range of environmental initiatives including Brownfield/Voluntary Clean-up Program sites, RCRA sites, Landfill Sites, and Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments.
- Manage and analyze field and lab data.
- Prepare proposals and create assessment and clean-up work plans and reports.
- Supervise contractors and drillers as needed.
- Conduct fieldwork such as groundwater and soil sampling.
- Contribute to business growth through development efforts in the Mobile Bay area.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in environmental consulting or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Brownfield/Voluntary Clean-up Programs.
- Familiarity with RCRA and landfill regulations.
- Previous supervisory or managerial experience.
