About the position

The Project Logistics Coordinator (On-Call) will work closely with the Program Management Team to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) Aerospace Medical Research Division (AAM-600). This role is crucial in coordinating logistics for an evacuation study that involves a series of on-site experimental sessions where research subjects will participate in cabin simulation exercises. The successful candidate will be responsible for the logistics coordination of research subjects throughout the duration of the study, under the guidance of the Project Logistics Manager and Program Manager. In this position, the coordinator will integrate CNI Core Competencies into daily functions, demonstrating a commitment to integrity, quality of work, and supporting the financial goals of the company. The coordinator will be responsible for supporting logistics on the day of study session events, coordinating and organizing documents to meet reporting, compliance, and communication needs of the logistics project. They will disseminate project information to research subjects during each session and contribute insights during lessons learned meetings. The role also includes conducting walkthroughs with team members prior to project sessions to ensure readiness, driving rented vehicles to transport staff to various locations, and maintaining a neat and orderly work area to ensure safety. The coordinator will promote compliance with all applicable rules and regulations, fostering an environment where violations can be reported comfortably. This position requires a proactive approach to self-development and a commitment to the company's values and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support logistics on the day of study session event activities.
  • Coordinate, collect, process, and organize documents to support reporting, compliance, and communication needs of the logistics project.
  • Disseminate project information to research subjects during each project session.
  • Contribute insights during lessons learned meetings.
  • Conduct walkthroughs with team members prior to project sessions to ensure readiness.
  • Drive rented vehicles to transport staff to various locations.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area to ensure safety and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Promote compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or a minimum of eight (8) years' experience managing a team.
  • Relevant experience in successful leadership in a collaborative work environment.
  • Knowledge in project management with the ability to assist with project timelines and objectives.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with clarity and tact in communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to assess needs, provide assistance, resolve problems, and satisfy expectations.
  • Ability to organize work, set priorities, and handle multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows/Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
