The Corporate Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Project Management Analyst Consultant - IT Infrastructure. This role is crucial in managing multiple projects within a large-scale technical environment, specifically aimed at supporting the implementation of UHS clinical business or security applications, as well as application environments and platforms. The consultant will ensure high availability and performance of these systems, demonstrating strong problem analysis and troubleshooting skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential for problem definition and resolution, as well as for coordinating staff and resource management. The consultant will also participate in and document various IT activities, prepare and maintain project budgets, obtain quotes, order equipment/devices, and maintain equipment status reports. Meeting deadlines and coordinating IS vendors/teams activities while directing equipment/device deliveries to facilities are also key aspects of this role. The Project Management Analyst Consultant will support the implementation of UHS clinical, business, or security applications or application environments and platforms to ensure their high availability and performance. This includes managing and implementing projects with local IS departments to establish specific project schedules, meet project budgets, and direct the work of project team members in a matrix environment. The consultant will participate in the evaluation and selection of supporting vendors and may need to travel to facilities to ensure the quality and integrity of the work being performed. Ensuring that projects remain on track, on time, and on budget is a critical responsibility. The consultant will assign and manage resources for projects, both internal and external, and work with outside vendors to define technology requirements, design alternatives, costs, and project schedules for new and existing projects. Leading project status meetings with multiple personnel across different technical teams and providing consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, and ongoing cost analyses are also essential functions of this role. The consultant will be responsible for significant issue management and resolution, often communicating at the executive levels.
