About the position

The Project Management Consultant will lead and manage various strategic planning, accessibility, and business operations initiatives for the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC). This role involves providing programmatic support to senior staff and the administrative team, ensuring digital accessibility of GRC products, and supporting business operations and strategic planning initiatives. The consultant will also build relationships with project sponsors and external partners, serve on health policy evaluation projects, and oversee project development and research activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide programmatic support to senior staff and the GRC leadership team.
  • Ensure all GRC products are digitally accessible in collaboration with the accessibility consultant.
  • Support various GRC business operations and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Assist the Data Governance Committee and collaborate with the Finance Team on training and resources.
  • Support new staff onboarding processes.
  • Build and manage relationships with project sponsors and external partners.
  • Serve as Project Management Consultant on health policy evaluation and/or quality improvement projects.
  • Engage in project development, including grant and proposal writing.
  • Conduct project-related research and provide technical assistance.
  • Review and approve the work product of team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of six years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or four years with an advanced degree required.
  • Prior experience in healthcare policy and/or program design is required.
  • Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office and meeting facilitation software (e.g., Teams/Zoom) is required.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.
