About the position

Build your Project Management career in the fast-growing solar industry! As our Project Management Coordinator, you'll work directly with subcontractors to support project-relevant scheduling and material coordination. This includes scheduling density, managing inbound and outbound calls, overseeing pipeline management, and handling material procurement. Your role will be pivotal in providing exceptional customer service while establishing the most efficient pre-solar work schedules, adhering to the schedule of performance as indicated by our Master Subcontractor Agreement. In this position, you will populate schedules through various mediums such as phone calls, SMS/texting, and email. You will take extreme ownership of customer and subcontractor issues, ensuring they are resolved effectively. Coordination with various departments for project resolutions will be essential, as well as understanding company and department goals and KPIs to ensure workstreams are aligned. You will provide feedback to management and other departments regarding processes, tools, and best practices. With minimal oversight, you will utilize knowledgebases and other tools to perform project coordination functions while always looking for areas to improve. This role may also involve performing other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the projects and the company.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Solar preferred.
  • At least 2 years' experience in roofing, electrical or general construction.
  • Strong organizational skills and capable of making decisions without constant supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders as well as understand solar specifications.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills required.
  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite; experience in operational CRM and ERP systems is a plus.
  • High School graduate or GED.
