About the position

The Project Management Coordinator plays a crucial role in this mission by representing Project Management in meetings, gathering requests, and communicating them to the appropriate individuals within the Project Management and Product Development organization. This position requires independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload effectively. The PM Coordinator may also be responsible for training and mentoring new Project Coordinators within the team and may manage smaller projects that require limited client interaction. The role relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals and involves performing a variety of tasks. Full-time on-site availability is required for this position. The Project Management Coordinator is tasked with delivering on customer requests and ensuring that all deliverables are met to support readiness to execute (RTE). This includes working closely with scientists and project management to ensure timely delivery of requested documentation, supporting customer regulatory documentation compilation, and following up on document change requests to ensure they are executed within the project timeline. The coordinator will facilitate the necessary deliverables to ensure RTE and support operations in delivering all required documents for batch manufacture. Additionally, the role involves supporting the quality unit to ensure that all required documents are in place for batch release and defining and continuously improving key processes. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings to represent Project Management and gather requests.
  • Communicate requests to responsible individuals within the Project Management and Product Development organization.
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload independently.
  • Support the training and mentoring of new Project Coordinators.
  • Manage smaller projects with limited client interaction.
  • Deliver on customer requests and ensure deliverables are attained in support of readiness to execute (RTE).
  • Work closely with scientists and project management to ensure on-time delivery of requested documentation.
  • Support customer regulatory documentation compilation.
  • Follow up with document change requests to ensure timely execution within the project timeline.
  • Facilitate deliverables required to ensure readiness to execute (RTE).
  • Support operations to ensure delivery of all required documents to support batch manufacture.
  • Support quality unit to ensure all required documents are in place for batch release.
  • Define and continuously improve key processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Demonstrated project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience in FDA regulated industry, particularly in the pharmaceutical CDMO industry, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Projects and ability to understand timelines is preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft programs required (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in technical writing and change control is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Documentum, TrackWise, and JD Edwards preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
