About the position

The Project Management Coordinator will oversee and manage activities related to the execution of small and medium-sized projects within the Project Management Office. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the defined scope, while also maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support all corporate objectives and policies.
  • Accountable for the coordination and completion of all assigned projects on time and within profitability expectations.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects and develop a detailed project plan, setting deadlines, monitoring, and summarizing the progress of all projects within the Project Management Office.
  • Initiate, execute, and close out projects according to established processes.
  • Coordinate internally with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are achieved.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, in accordance with PMO and GPMO standards.
  • Responsible for reporting on project status to local and global management.
  • Work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
  • Manage customer expectations through clear, direct communication.
  • Communicate customer concerns/issues internally and execute recovery or response.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and manage various projects in different markets.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Conduct on-site project meetings when necessary.
  • Enter orders for assigned projects.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Sharepoint).
  • Proven communication skills to interact with team members.
  • Proven critical thinking skills to resolve questions and problems related to orders.
  • Strong organizational skills are a must.
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed, which could include international travel and/or weekends as projects demand.
  • Entry-level Project Scheduling experience - working with MS Project or Primavera.
  • Entry-level Project Management experience - External-facing communication and management (customer service experience is okay or internship experience).
  • Entry-level Technical Writing Skills - ability to outline work instructions.
  • Moderate Technical Ability - able to read and comprehend basic design/manufacturing drawings.
  • Moderate Financial/Business Acumen experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of SAP.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year plus bonus.
