About the position

Ferguson is currently seeking a Project Management Coordinator to join our team, focusing on Commercial Plumbing projects. This position is integral to ensuring that our customers' complex projects are managed effectively and efficiently. The Project Management Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the overall project management process, ensuring that all customer orders are accurately inputted and tracked. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as the coordinator will handle escalated and unresolved customer concerns, ensuring that client needs are met as the project evolves. The coordinator will also be responsible for setting up subcontractors in the system and collaborating with shared accounts. This position involves supporting Project Managers in all phases of the project, which includes coordinating appointments with customers, tracking and processing incoming paperwork, and facilitating team meetings between team members and clients. The Project Management Coordinator will play a crucial role in communicating any concerns to management during associate meetings, ensuring that the project stays on track and meets the defined objectives. This position is based onsite at the nearest Ferguson branch in North Carolina or South Carolina, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Responsibilities

  • Accurately input customer orders and check on the status of orders
  • Coordinate appointments with customers
  • Handle escalated and unresolved customer concerns
  • Responsible for setting up subcontractors in the system and work with shared accounts
  • Support Project Managers in all phases of the project
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objectives
  • Ensure client's needs are met as project evolves
  • Coordinate team meetings between team members and clients
  • Track and process incoming paperwork
  • Participate in associate meetings and communicate any concerns to management

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize work
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
