About the position

Infotrend is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a team responsible for daily IT operations and project execution. This role focuses on managing the Division's IT and IT Security Programs, ensuring the delivery of secure and reliable IT business solutions that meet program requirements for thousands of end-users in the Washington, DC area. The Project Manager will provide enterprise-level support to the Government customer, ensuring operational continuity and effective project management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify team strengths and areas for improvement, supporting personal and professional growth for each team member.
  • Oversee IT Operations team activities to ensure projects progress smoothly and operational continuity is maintained.
  • Manage remote and on-site support until issues are resolved, providing a root cause analysis within 24 hours post-incident.
  • Maintain precise oversight of team activities, ensuring that resources align with customer objectives and requirements.
  • Support team members in developing non-technical skills.
  • Facilitate strong team interaction and open communication.
  • Provide guidance without micromanaging, empowering team members to take ownership.
  • Understand overarching goals, independently formulate solutions, collaborate with engineers to refine plans, and engage at both engineering and operational levels as needed.
  • Adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibit exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Participate in lower-level support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
  • Current PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
  • Current CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification.
  • 10+ years of professional Project Management experience.
  • Experience managing a team of IT professionals across multiple projects and operational support tasks.
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI.
