About the position

The Project Manager 2 at Comcast is responsible for coordinating the installation of Comcast Business Advanced Voice, Ethernet, and associated SMB product offers. This role involves managing the order submission process, providing customer support, and ensuring accurate communication with internal departments and vendors. The Project Manager will work with significant guidance in their area of knowledge to meet organizational goals and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Establish dates required for on-time completion of network activations and evaluate the impact of changes on the installation timeline.
• Identify risks, issues, and gaps that could impact timelines, goals, and installation of services.
• Facilitate required meetings and prioritize cross-functional activities related to installations.
• Develop communications, summary reports, and status updates for various audiences.
• Provide accurate installation status information through briefings, meetings, and reports.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, engineering, and other functional groups to ensure accurate order flow.
• Review contracts and validate services with customers for accuracy.
• Meet organizational scorecard, productivity, and quality metrics.
• Serve as the primary contact with customers and IT/technical personnel/vendor/reseller.
• Support one or more products within Advanced Voice and Ethernet during service installation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to maintain effective customer, business, and field relationships.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage orders requiring technical knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.
