About the position

The Project Manager A will support the research and professional activities of Dr. Carmen Guerra in the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. This role involves managing multiple research projects, including grant fund management, data collection, and reporting, as well as coordinating study meetings and preparing grant proposals. The project manager will work independently to manage budgets and ensure compliance with IRB submissions, contributing to the overall success of the research initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of 10+ research projects including grant fund management.
  • Oversee data collection, management, and reporting.
  • Handle IRB submissions and maintain compliance.
  • Coordinate study meetings and prepare necessary materials.
  • Prepare and submit grant proposals for new funding opportunities.
  • Regularly update and evaluate project budgets.
  • Request and maintain access to data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a health-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and resourceful skills.
  • Quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High accuracy, dependability, and attention to detail.
