About the position

The Project Manager (Agile/Scrum) will lead high-visibility, large-scale technology projects, managing day-to-day operations and tactical aspects of cross-functional initiatives. This role involves acting as a technical project manager and scrum master, focusing on improving solution delivery through innovation and persistence while supporting the MAST engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Product Owner(s) with project coordination, scoping, tracking action items, maintaining project schedules and milestones
  • Oversees all relevant scrum activities including standups, grooming, sprint closeout, planning, and facilitates sprint demos and retrospectives
  • Protects the team from outside distractions to allow engineering to focus on their work
  • Owns reporting and communication on project status to various levels of the organization
  • Organizes and maintains project artifacts
  • Manages and mitigates project risks and issues
  • Anticipates, reports, and mitigates issues that will impact schedule or quality
  • Takes meeting minutes and distributes them to attendees

Requirements

  • 5 plus years of Agile technology project management experience
  • Proven track record of delivering successful, innovative solutions across a range of project sizes and types
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a project manager on large, complex, integrated systems
  • Experience working with tight deadlines and high-pressure projects
  • Seasoned experience leading sprint activities (standups, sprint planning, sprint scope, release plan, backlog grooming, sprint demos, retrospectives)
  • Strong communication skills with awareness of others' preferences and personal biases
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing project delivery needs
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong PPM toolset experience with JIRA and Smartsheet
  • Proactive and solution-oriented team member capable of identifying operational issues and recommending solutions
  • BS or equivalent work experience in Studio/Entertainment
  • Studio/Film Production Technology experience
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as MS Power BI
  • PMP certification
  • Certified Scrum Master certification
