About the position
The Project Manager for Architecture and Engineering at Devino Aiello Architects will oversee the development of project scope, schedule, and budget while collaborating with clients, consultants, and construction managers. This role requires a detail-oriented designer with strong communication skills to manage multiple projects, primarily focused on multi-family residential designs. Responsibilities
- Participate in activities of the Design Team consisting of Engineers, Planners, and other consultants.
- Deliver day-to-day project tracking and communication with the client and project team.
- Prepare and distribute meeting notes to the project team.
- Provide direction to the Construction Team on behalf of the owner.
- Develop, track, update, forecast, and modify the project schedule throughout all phases of the project.
- Review and track all contracts, invoices, and payments to all consultants.
- Support the preparation of Monthly Reports to Owner.
- Peer review of drawings from the drafting team.
- Schedule and perform site visits.
- Review all invoices and change orders associated with the project.
- Report to Principal Architects bi-weekly on project statuses.
- Prepare phase schedule with design budget.
- Assure project profitability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Design and Construction.
- At least 5+ years of experience in multi-family and residential building.
- At least 8+ years of Construction Document experience.
- 5+ years of Project Management and/or Construction Administration experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, and other 3D Rendering & Design Software.
- Strong graphic skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Project Management Information Systems Software.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in mixed-use, mid-rise, and high-rise projects.
- Strong client relations skills.
