About the position

The Project Manager (AV & LV) role is focused on overseeing and managing audiovisual and low voltage projects, ensuring effective communication with clients and team members, and maintaining project quality and financial performance. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage effective communications with clients, in-house staff, other trades, general contractors, architects, and representatives.
• Oversee teams including site supervisors, installers, and subcontractors.
• Understand and deliver project planning including estimating, scheduling, and resource management.
• Take bottom line responsibility for project financial performance.
• Ensure all work meets the scope of work, plans, company standards, and client expectations.
• Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
• Create, submit, get approval for change orders, confirm payment, and execute.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in AV/LV on construction sites.
• Experience with broadcast and streaming production systems.
• A steady work history with no more than 3 years between job changes.
• High emotional intelligence and a pleasant disposition.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of IP network-based broadcast and commercial AV technologies.
• Experience with audio, video, display, camera, distributed audio, lighting, and acoustics.
• Experience as an installer, supervisor, engineer, or technician.
