About the position

The CAD Designer role involves developing and designing engineering documentation, including drawings and 3D models, primarily using Catia V5 and Creo. This position requires a strong background in CAD design, with responsibilities that include redesigning existing models, creating assemblies, and ensuring quality and readiness of designs before release. The role also includes supporting junior team members and peers, making it essential for candidates to have both technical expertise and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design engineering documentation, such as drawings, 3D models, and CAD modules/assemblies.
• Mature the product in the CAD system.
• Redesign existing models, focusing on small areas as needed.
• Design components in CAD.
• Create assemblies of CAD models and resolve packaging conflicts.
• Secure quality and readiness of designs before release.
• Define how to use drawings to verify product geometrical properties.
• Produce technical drawings sufficient to define a product.
• Apply advanced knowledge obtained through education and work experience.
• Support junior team members and peers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in both Catia V5 and Creo.
