About the position

Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation, and diversity as a development program professional at Honeywell. In this role, you will support development programs within one of Honeywell's businesses, playing a crucial part in implementing program plans, budgets, and schedules. You will execute a programmatic Management Operating System (MOS) and support forecasting and capacity analysis related to delivery requirements. Your contributions will be vital in the Integrated Product Development System (IPDS) process, helping to achieve committed business performance. You will work closely with business leaders, presenting programmatic details, requirements, actions, and status updates as assigned. Under moderate supervision from the program manager, you will be responsible for executing on scope, schedule, cost, delivery, earned value, and quality. This position requires you to demonstrate project management skills, including risk management, to ensure successful program execution. As part of your responsibilities, you will coordinate with Cost Account Managers, implement program plans, understand budget and schedule requirements, adhere to the IPDS process, and execute the Management Operating System. Collaboration with various functions will be essential, as you will provide guidance and support for forecasting and capacity analysis, ensuring timely management and presentation of programmatic details.

Requirements

  • Three years' experience managing construction projects
  • Experience managing a backlog of $5 million
  • Experience in Building Automation, Life Safety, or HVAC system projects

Nice-to-haves

  • BS/BA degree in engineering or business
  • Knowledge of PM Principles & Processes with emphasis on IPDS phase II-V
  • Experience in Requirements Management & Fulfillment
  • Experience in Planning/Estimation Scheduling including resource-loading and critical path analysis
  • Familiarity with SOW-thru-WBS-thru-BOE-thru Integrated Master Schedule
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Earned Value Management
  • Understanding of Cost & Financials (e.g., RDE, spend, forecast, variance)
  • Experience in Risk Management (Identification & Mitigation)
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills with program teams and sponsors
