About the position

The Colorado Community College System (CCCS) is seeking a Project Manager/Business Analyst to join its Information Technology team. This role focuses on managing complex projects related to Financial Aid, Student, and Advancement areas within a higher education environment. The position offers opportunities for hybrid-remote work and emphasizes collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance existing solutions and implement new products.

Responsibilities

• Drive collaboration with relevant IT departments and business users.
• Develop business cases and comprehensive project requests in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Facilitate the gathering of project requirements from business users and technical staff.
• Identify, verify, and record task dependencies, efforts, and durations.
• Create detailed project task specifications and manage resource allocation.
• Follow established project management guidelines to develop and track project plans.
• Conduct project meetings and provide status updates.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the Ellucian Banner product/service line and related vendor products.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience managing projects.
• Hands-on experience in Student Affairs in a higher education setting.
• Experience with Ellucian CRM Recruit or similar admissions CRM and Ellucian Banner Student.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficient in project management tools like Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Experience in a multi-college system or large higher education organization.
• Ability to manage and lead diverse groups effectively.
