About the position

The Project Manager / CAD Designer role involves overseeing custom booth projects for trade shows and exhibitions, ensuring that client needs are met while adhering to design specifications and deadlines. The position requires collaboration with various teams and effective communication to manage project logistics and risks.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives for custom booth projects.
• Perform solicitation and follow-up through verbal and written communications.
• Utilize understanding of measurements and spatial awareness for accurate booth design.
• Write and present proposals to prospective clients using professional communication skills.
• Oversee booth construction, ensuring adherence to design specifications while managing labor.
• Coordinate project requirements with cross-functional teams, including designers and subcontractors.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks, proactively resolving issues.
• Coordinate logistics, including shipping and on-site installation.

Requirements

• Experience in project management and familiarity with AutoCAD.
• Ability to develop lasting professional relationships with clients.
• Analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Great written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe.

Nice-to-haves

• Tradeshow or related industry experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Spanish or any other language skills are a plus.
