About the position

The Senior Project Manager position at our established firm in Oakland, CA, is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage comprehensive project plans. This role requires a deep understanding of best practices in project management, including scope and risk management, change management, quality management, and effective communication strategies. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for securing all necessary resources to achieve project objectives and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This position is hybrid, allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work, and is offered on a contract basis for a duration of 12 months. In this role, the Senior Project Manager will be expected to identify and manage project risks effectively, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload while maintaining strict attention to detail. The ideal candidate will establish program goals and objectives that align with the strategic plan of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and project planning and lifecycle development is essential. Strong leadership skills are required, with the ability to influence and mentor team members effectively. Additionally, knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology and lean software development practices is crucial. Requirements

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work in an environment that combines business and technology.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence effectively.
