About the position

The Project Manager / Civil Engineer role at Ardurra involves managing and designing a variety of civil engineering and land development projects across the region. This position is integral to the Site/Civil Engineering practice, focusing on both public and private projects, including industrial, parks and recreation, residential, commercial, and drainage/stormwater designs. The role emphasizes collaboration with various engineering departments and requires strong project management skills to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage and design a variety of civil engineering projects, both public and private.
• Collaborate with other engineering departments such as transportation, public works, and surveying.
• Assist with client interface, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time and on-budget project delivery.
• Prepare project proposals, scope/fees, and RFP responses.
• Plan, organize, and supervise design activities for complex civil engineering projects.
• Coordinate with project design team members, clients, contractors, subconsultants, and permit agency representatives.
• Prepare and review technical engineering reports and calculations.
• Facilitate project construction administration by interacting with the construction team, reviewing Shop Drawings/submittals, and addressing RFIs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related professional experience in Project Management and civil engineering/land development.
• Registered Arizona Professional Engineer (PE), or ability to obtain via reciprocity.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited university or college.
• Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Bluebeam.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively.
