About the position

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a talented and experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to lead and manage various site/civil engineering projects. This role involves overseeing project scoping, contract development, and staff management while ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality results in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, execute, and oversee all phases of site civil projects including land development and municipal infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct thorough site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure projects meet industry standards.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience with strong site design skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Previous project management experience required.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D and HydroCAD knowledge; GIS is a plus.
  • Experience with local & state permitting requirements.
